John is a senior executive with over twenty years of experience in IT management.  He has had repeated success in leadership positions across a variety of dynamic complex environments including Public Sector organizations as CIO of the City of Nashua, and Assistant Director for the Connecticut State University system, and IT management in financial services, eCommerce, software development, manufacturing, and healthcare .  An influential IT Leader with proven skills in IT strategic planning, program and project management, leveraging technology, developing people, and expanding organizational capabilities.   John is adept at developing transformative strategies and turning them into actionable plans.  He is an innovator with a focus on flexible scalable solutions that maximize return and reduce costs.  He is a skilled facilitator and negotiator, a trusted change agent and adviser to senior leaders.

Strategic Planning
  • Developed the City of Nashua’s first 5-year strategic technology plan, and led the phased projects and innovations that streamlined operations, expanded citizen services, reduced technology operational costs, built a reliable and sustainable infrastructure, and won Nashua recognition as the Most Transparent Municipal Government in New Hampshire.
  • Led cross-functional teams in strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and metric-driven optimization of non-clinical healthcare operations in collaboration with Senior leadership.
  • Planned & developed first NAFTA project management organization for global manufacturer Agfa, leading a team of 20 project managers to streamline service engagements & improve service levels, including pre & post-sales automation.
  • As Director of IT at a software manufacturer led all support & infrastructure planning and operations to beat SLAs and reduce cost per customer contact by half.
  • Developed and implemented IT plans that built a global follow-the-sun automated support system under budget and before competitors.
  • Responsible for developing IT policies and procedures that meet legal and regulatory requirements and preserve privacy and required transparency.
